Boost Your Makeup Routine

Not so long ago Juice Beauty released their Phyto Pigments Juice Boosts and I was able to get my hands on them. Today I want to come and write my review on them and also share with you how I use each shade.

The Juice Boost comes in two shades, Illuminating (pearlescent) & Bronzing (warm bronze). They retail for $25 each or both for $45, if you sign up for their newsletter you get 15% off your first order. The formula is lightweight, with a thin consistency, vegan with organic ingredients and quite pigmented especially the bronzing shade. A great addition to my makeup collection because they are versatile, and can be mixed into foundations, primers, used alone on the face, lips, and eyes.

The Bronzing Shade

When I had just gotten these, I was only using this one as a bronzer with a damp beauty sponge to add warmth & definition to my face. Because its a warm shade it looks great on my medium skin tone. I recently begun to mix it into foundations that are lighter than my skin tone to create a shade that matches me better, and now that is my favorite way to use it. This shade is pigmented and a little goes a long way. Thanks to this boost I can now use up the foundations that are not the perfect match instead of returning or donating them and allowing me to use foundations all year round as well.

The Illuminating Shade

I wasn't using this shade a lot because this one has a slight pinky tone and prefer golden highlighters. However, I do like using it to mix into my primers or foundations to achieve a glowy look. Applying it as a highlight on the cheekbones & the bridge of the nose before applying my foundation also gives a very subtle glow that looks natural.

Those are the ways I like to incorporate the Juice Boosts into my makeup routines. I have seen other people use them alone on the eyes & lips. Overall I really enjoy these unique and fun boosts. Really love that they provide a subtle glow without being shimmery. They are effective, wear really nice on the skin, they layer nicely and although they are liquid they set on the skin. Fortunately, I don't have any cons but do wish Juice Beauty comes out with a golden shade in the near future.

Have you tried these? If so what did you think?

Thanks for stopping.
Cyber XO,
Eli
