NEW! Sun Shield Liquid Tint SPF 50 from MyChelle
Here in SoCal, it's starting to feel a lot like summer. With warmer weather comes the need to use higher SPF. The Sun Shield Liquid Tint with SPF 50 from MyChelle, is my new fave. They recently came out with this and I was lucky enough to try it out and share my thoughts with you. I already did a video on it, you can watch it here.
This sheer tinted SPF of 50 is an oil free formula, vegan, reef safe, provides UVA & UVB protection, has a matte finish and its a 100% mineral broad spectrum protection. Free from parabens, gluten, GMOs, artificial fragrance and colors, petroleum, sulfates, phthalates and ureas. There are only 2 shades, Nude & Natural Tan, which I know it can be off-putting to have only two options, but this product is supposed to be shade matching. Also, keep in mind that it is a sheer tinted product. Only $22.50 for a 1 fl oz glass bottle with a pump, I think that is a great deal for a natural SPF of 50! Both shades have worked for me because it blends so nicely into the skin, providing me with a very natural looking finish. Right now I'm blending both of them together. But I know pretty soon I will only use Natural Tan since it's a bit darker.
The consistency is very liquidy hence the name Liquid Tint, it requires you to give it a good shake before applying it. I apply this with my hands, so no makeup brushes needed, I feel like if I were to use a brush the coverage would probably be even sheerer. I feel like this product was made for me lol, which I know it's not true but its perfect for my skin type. If you have combination oily, oily, or very oily skin you will love it, because it gives a natural healthy-looking matte finish and it did not get oily throughout the day on my skin. The feel is really nice, smooth, silky & lightweight.

Coverage & Longevity
Again keep in mind that this is not a foundation, so it doesn't have a lot of coverage. I get light coverage with one layer and if I apply two I do see more of my redness go away. For a sheer tint, this has really nice coverage, not completely full but still very nice. The best way I can describe the coverage is that it looks my skin but better. It covers my redness and evens out my skin tone. I personally love the coverage because during the summer this girl is not a fan of a lot of layers of makeup. If you want more coverage you can use this as a primer/SPF product and apply your favorite foundation on top. It doesn't replace my moisturizer, so I still use my favorite moisturizer prior to applying the Liquid Tint.
As far as the longevity its great, I wore to Disneyland the other day. I had it on for about 15 hours and I noticed that around the 9th or 10th hour it had rubbed off around my nose and chin. Probably because I rub my nose quite often and scratch my chin at times. I noticed that my redness started to show. It didn't rub off in patches nor did it look really obvious. I didn't expect this sheer tint to last super long but I was impressed that it lasted as long as it did.

Overall I love this, I think it's a simple yet amazing SPF product. I will for sure buy it once I'm out off the two that I have. To me it's a like dream come true, I had been looking for a matte SPF with a tiny bit of coverage, and I'm so happy that I now have one. The best thing about it is that I can go into the water when I'm at the beach and know that this product won't be harming the marine life or pollute the ocean water or my skin since it is reef safe and non-nano! Oh and I almost forgot, this SPF doesn't leave a white cast nor does it take a lot to blend like most SPF products I have tried!
